ADVOCATING MODERN FEMINISM THROUGH FEMALE NUDITY

WOMEN HAVE BEEN using their naked bodies to achieve disruption, reclamation, and empowerment for decades, says Diane Pacom, a professor emeritus at the University of Ottawa’s School of Sociological and Anthropological Studies. In the 1960s and ’70s, but in recent days more often in the lockdown and quarantine period, women has taken to the internet to showcase their faminism.

Women used their bodies as symbols of peace and free love during protests in the United States. And now, over the last decade or so, women have used nudity to express what Pacom calls the newest wave of feminism. They shamelessly display their nudity on protests, the internet  to achieved a desired goal.

Whether it’s through politically public displays of nudity—a common tactic of the European Femen movement, which organizes topless protests while advocating for women’s rights—or in your apartment with your sister, in front of a camera, women’s naked bodies have become an act of defiance. Nudity, adds Pacom, has become a means to criticize the system.

Apart from the whoring aspects of nakedness and nudity, the fakinism defense has gain huge momentum all around the world, and each distinctive reasons are always clearly identified by the male folks, a man who saw a naked female will clearly identify what essence the nudity is on for, it has always been clearly identify what reason a woman is naked for without putting a tag in it.

This shows that societal norms have changed drastically in form of the way a woman is expected to project herself. Nudity in woman couldn't attributed to whoring or prostitution in recent days, especially in the post lockdown era.
