THE ANNUAL AJE FESTIVAL KICK OFF IN ILE-IFE

The annual AJE festival  kick off with full throttle in ile-ife on Monday 22nd of february, the highly revered festival is a yearly occasion to commemorate  the god of AJE (Money) and solicite for it abundance in the ancient land of ile-ife and the entire yoruba clan. In ife, it's believed that AJE has a god who must be offered a sacrificial celebration in order to abide and reside in the yoruba clan.

The Ooni of ife among other priest are the chief originator and sacrificial priest who embarked on a week activity in commemorating the traditional AJE festival. The abundance of AJE in the ancient city of ile-ife is always clearly visible upon the completion of the highly revered festival. It's believed that the festival always usher in abundance in wealth, health, economic and farm produce in general

Livestocks reproduce in abundance upon the completion of AJE festival. Rain water the ground in elegance abundance, health standard are  largely improved and old and aged parents gained a renewed vigor to live another year. Hopefully this year, the festival will play a major role in eradicating the rampaging covid-19 virus around the world.
