Nigerians have reacted to the blunt and direct approach adopted by SEYI shay on nigeria idol, here are some reactions.
SEYI shay has come under heavy criticism for her usual harsh judgement on Nigerian idol contestant, but can she really be blamed for asking so much from a "Wanna Be", when all we hear the whole time is "only hardwork and the determination to push yourself to the limit can take you up there" and stuffs like that. She's right on the one who decide to quit her job just to contest even at the preliminary stages of the competition. She was actually right on that one;
Quitting your job for #NigerianIdol audition is like quitting your job simply because a company invited you for an aptitude test. Who are these young chaps getting advice from? But then, Nigerians will still find a way to blame Seyi Shay. Maybe Nigerians are too harsh on the female pop star. Here are some comments on her direct and blunt approach..
I think the judges are being brutal to the contestants... Now I'm beginning to think Seyi Shay is overdoing it....Gosh...Even seyi shay no go give wiz golden ticket for that performance..... That Wizkid live performance was so bad that the admin had to delete the tweet. Thank God it wasn't done in front of Seyi Shay cause she would have begged him to quit music.
Well, am in Seyi Shay’s defense with my full chest Nigerians need to calm down with ‘fake empathy’. Someone obviously didn’t sing well.. judges nicely told her what they had to, babes came up with emotional blackmail and started crying, what will you have the judges do otherwise. Na Seyi Shay dey enjoy this Nigerian Idol pass, she trends even more than the show itself.
As per dust capping wey too much but some contestants too na glorified idiots. Why you go try use Fuji tone sing "like I do" by fireboy. Facts only...TBH a friend of mine was asking if she still exists ..I was the one fighting for her, I know tthey still drag her for her know it all attitude on that platform...No mind that woman...
