ANGERED MOURINHO ROLL OUT INCORRECT STATISTICS ABOUT HIS FORMER STRIKERS

Jose Mourinho has taken his time to roll out the analysis of his former strikers statistics in response to Paul Merson’s suggestion that the England striker Harry Kane is finding it difficult to find his scoring boot, but in anger got the Drogba statistics wrong.

Mourihno was quick to give an answer by rolling out statistics about Drogba, Zlatan, Ronaldo, Milito and Karim Benzema. He continually make moves to support his striker by analyzing how Kane hasn’t played football in month even prior the corona outbreak suspension.

His analyses are; I have a guy called Drogba, he played four season for me at Chelsea, he scored 186 goals with an average of 46 goals per season.

I have another guy Ronaldo, he played for me three seasons, he scored 186 goals, which gives an average of 56 goals per season. I had another guy who is also not bad, he played for me three seasons, he was not always starting because he was quite young at the time, he scored 78 goals in three seasons, which gives a 26-goal average per season.

“I had another called (Diego) Milito, he played one season, he scored 30 goals, won three titles. I had another guy, he played for one and a half seasons, in the other half he had a big injury. A tall guy called Zlatan (Ibrahimovic). He scored 58 goals, which gives a 29 average per season.

He further opined that because he held Paul Merson in high esteem, he thinks he deserves a polite answer and that’s why he decided to roll out statistics on former records.

But it was quick to see th at Mourihno in his anger didn’t do enough to get his statistics right, his statistics about Didier Drogba is not that accurate.

Drogba actually made 186 appearances under the manager and only scored 73 time while he played for the Portuguese.
