Naira Marleys Inadequacies
Truly…, Naira Marley is the opposite of whatever a parent pray for his kid to be, he look and act like an outlaw and said in one of his IG video chat that he has been arrested in the UK for around 150 times, even in Nigeria, he has always been on the other side of the law, presently, he’s on a court case, he was picked up by the EFCC in 2019 and subsequently charged with possession of credit cards not belonging to him.
He has sing to attack politicians, pastors and also releases hot tracks to praise Drugs, fraud, sex, mastubation and a whole lot of other bad vices. His influence on the Nigerian youths student mostly couldn’t be over emphasized, his Martian ways has strict codes of not wearing belts (sagging), no shirts, becoming a rebel to parental and societal training and norms, some even says Marlian don’t graduate, imagine that; whereas, he’s a serial graduates from prominent schools in the UK.
But all thing been equal, is caging a music star a nice remark to be reckon with even if his lifestyle isn’t approved by many, looking for more justification for Naira Marley is to lay credence to legends like Fela Anikulapo Kuti whose rebellious music these old parent vibes to.
Bob Marley, Tupac shakur, Lucky Dube are all outlaw musicians with a questionable characters could it be appropriate to have caged them in their prime, more so that they all died at their youthful days.
