Bruno Fernandez is a name all Manchester United fans are familiar with in the last one year, when he joined the english outfit from sporting Lisbon. Ever since, he has been the most integral part of the team. Fernandes made an instant success at Old Trafford and has recorded 22 goals and 14 assists from 37 matches under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Now according to the Mirror, United are going to reward the Portuguese star for his efforts on the pitch just under a year after he joined the club in a £47million transfer from Sporting Lisbon in January. There's a plan to double his weekly wages to £200,000, bringing him in the same wage bill with Jesse Lingard who hasn't feature for United in awhile.

Even if the double wage plan was borne out of the club desperate measures to hold on to him and mentally improve him on the field of play more, the decison was geared by his excellent performance, watching him against West Ham last night coming from the bench to dominate proceedings is the height of his contribution and high level professionalism.
