CHELSEA OUTCLASS LEEDS UNITED IN A FIESTY STAMFORD BRIDGE ENCOUNTER
The encounter between Chelsea and Leeds at the Stamford bridge is a very interesting game of football, but despite Leeds heroic he performance, they were outclassed by Chelsea
The Saturday premier league match between Chelsea and Leeds United at Stamford bridge was a very entertaining encounter. Werner came close earlier in the game, but he ended up clearing a goal bound effort from Chilwel and couldn't capitalize on the rebound. The visitors open the scoring through the former Chelsea youngster Patrick Bamford, but the lead didn't last long as Olivier GIROUD pounce on a Reece James cross after 28th minutes to equalize for Chelsea.
The visitors continue to press and forcefully making thier presence known on the field with some good play and nice touches, but Chelsea class and depth in quality was able to withstand there opponent positive play through out the first half. The second half was a different encounter as both teams plays from poll to poll, but Zouma converted a mason mount corner kick in the 62nd minutes of the game.
The visitors continue to press looking for an equalizer, but Christian Pulisic late goal ensure the three point for the blues, Leeds United have been a rival club since the days of Frank LAMPARD playing career and have always give a fight since they gain promotion to the premier league. If they continue to play this way, they will definitely be in a suitable position come the end of the season,
