The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic send a shock wave all through nations of the world. When it fully break out in March 2020, leading to an imminent lockdown and close of all boarders, both international and local, the drama that come with the virus, the death toll, and its negative effects on all basics of life makes it a fiery disaster that push all scientist to put all hand on deck in order to seek a scientific discovery for the end of it.

Fortunately so, the world was able to come up with vaccines made readily available to combat the first stage of the virus, in all of the nations which the virus has circulated and fully administered either developing, developed or third world countries, there has never been any news nor rumor suggesting any body, either basic or essential workers on the vaccination centers demanded for money or made a patient pay for the vaccine, until it gets to Lagos, Nigeria.

This is really a sorry case for Nigerian as a nation and as an individual. Although, it's automatic easy to shift the blamed on the government all the time, but in this regard, the government did come up with its own side of the bargain by making the vaccines available for the people, but the people who's also part of the general populace decided to monetize the vaccines, in a dire situation of a case like COVID-19 vaccines. It's really a sorry case. The epidemic spread in the Nigerian society is far more decaying than the COVID-19 pandemic itself.

Given that the story couldn't be established or prove beyond reasonable doubt that there was truly an attempt to monetize the vaccines, but I can assure you, there's no smoke without fire. A critical look at the situation would definitely suggests something of that nature actually, almost or really happened.
