Russian Medvedev beat Serbian No. 1 Djokovic in straight sets at the US Open men's final on Sunday. The final score was 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in an upset that denied Djokovic the chance to complete a calendar slam. This is Medvedev's first major title win in his career.

It's @DaniilMedwed's day in New York. The world No.2 stuns Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to win his first Grand Slam title. Although, the win is about the Russian, but the behavior of the crowd is widely condemnable.

Shame on the US Open crowd. Their behavior was disgusting. I don’t remember in all my years of watching tennis having seen the disrespect of a player when they were serving. But Congrats to Medvedev who played a great match.
