DONALD TRUMP TO FINALLY FACE FRAUD TRIAL
The trumps are facing legal battle of fraud levied against them by the New York attorney general
New York Attorney General Letitia James announced that her office has found "significant evidence" that "the Trump Organization used fraudulent and misleading asset valuations" to obtain economic benefits for years.
She added that her office has taken legal action to force the former president, and his children Donald Trump Jr and Ivanka Trump, to comply with the investigation into the Trump Organization’s financial dealings.
The allegations were presented in a court filing on Tuesday where the court was asked to enforce the subpoenas to obtain the testimony of the Trumps.
Letitia James office uncovered evidence which indicates that the Trump Organization also submitted fraudulent or misleading valuations to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), specifically related to the Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles and Seven Springs.”
The Trumps have been evading legal consequences since he leaves the office because of lack of ground to bring him to the court of law, but it seems there's no escaping this at the moment, but time will tell.
