The Federal Government of Nigeria has completed the construction of the largest LPG Storage Facility in Benin City. The plant which will be launched today 24th of December 2020, will cut 260,000 metric tonnes of LPG imports from USA, and create loads of jobs. Nigeria will be saving N28billion yearly partly used in importing cooking gas.

The latest development will enhance Nigerian cooking gas use and makes it more available at a more affordable price for consumers around the country, although the project is set to be commissioned today, rumour has it from some quarters that it might not commence operations immediately. Early January is the stipulated date for the commencement of its operations, needless to say that it commissioning  is an evidence that sooner or later it will commence operations.

Although the Buhari government have come under heavy criticism lately, it will always be remembered for it commitment to put in place infrastructural facilities that will enhance the state and living standards of the Nigerian populace. It government has always prided itself of putting into more cognisamces facilities that the country's really needs to function more proactively.

Hopefully, the facility will serve the nation in a way that will facilitate easier access to cooking gas across the country and also be made available at an affordable discount for the general populace to benefits from. it continuously operations in a functioning capacity will not be hampered like the recent train transportation that it operations has remain epileptic since the commencement of it operations
