HOW TRUMP PLAYED INTO ANSWERING QUESTIONS UNDER OATH ON THE CAPITOL ATTACK
The former President got himself into a position to answer question under oath on the Capitol attack
It was in the news that the Trump Organization on Monday sued the city of New York after it ended its contract for a golf course at Ferry Point Park in the wake of the attack on the US Capitol on January 6.
If this suit survives a motion to dismiss, NYC can take Trump's deposition and ask him questions under oath about what happened on January 6. Which will make it difficult for him to lie.
The mayor's spokesman, Bill Neidhardt, added on Twitter: "Donald Trump directly incited a deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. You do that, and you lose the privilege of doing business with the City of New York. It's as simple as that."
It will be interesting to see how this goes and eventually pan out in the face of the insurrection and the attack on the Capitol.
