The Europa cup semi-finals have been drawn with AFC Ajax facing Lyon and Premier League Giants, Manchester United to battle with Celta Vigo. Who will emerge into the finals in this toughly contested league? Some have even argued that the Europa cup is more difficult than the Champions league. The two ties seem very difficult to predict. All four teams are top flight teams with Celta and Ajax having a very good run of form in their domestic leagues.

I predict Ajax winning this tie. Lyon defeated Besiktas to advance into the last four of the Europa league finals. Lyon has had a decent run of form in the Ligue 1. In the Europa League, Lyon has not been soo good playing away from home. They have lost 3 out of their six away matches although they have been able to score a minimum of 2.5 goals per match.

This is maybe a glitter of hope for Lyon fans but I see Ajax emerging the winner in this tie. Lyon is also gifted with the pacy Alexandre Lazazette.. If Lyon will get a chance to enter into the finals, they have to keep the on-form Davy Klaassen of Ajax at bay and depend on their quality passers like Tolliso and Ozyakup who can unlock defence for the unforgiving Lacazette gifted with an erratic finishing ability
