Former South Africa President Jacob ZUMA is been sentenced for fifteen months for charges of corruption. The former ACN leader has been facing charges of corruption following his resignation.

After extensive state-funded upgrades to his rural homestead at Nkandla, the Public Protector found that Zuma had benefited improperly from the expenditure, and the Constitutional Court unanimously held in 2016's Economic Freedom Fighters v Speaker of the National Assembly that Zuma had failed to uphold the country's rule of law and subsequently resign.

But now, he's been found guilty and subsequently sentenced to fifteen months in prison for his corruption charges.
