Billionaire Jeff Bezos finally rocket into space on the first crewed flight of the New Shepard spacecraft built by his company Blue Origin. Bezos will be accompanied by his brother Mark Bezos, 82-year-old pioneer of the space race Wally Funk and 18-year-old student Oliver Daemen of the Netherlands.

The launch take place from Bezos' private launch site near Van Horn, Texas and the flight is expected to last 11 minutes. The reports says that one requirement for flight training was being able to climb seven flights of stairs in 90 seconds. "Wally [Funk] says she outdid the men 60 years ago. And according to Jeff Bezos, she also outdid this group."

Former U.S. Air Force Pilot John Nance calls Blue Origin's flight to space "an evolution that is very necessary."This isn't millionaires going to space or billionaires, as much as it is an evolution of our ability to get into space in any form."
