The return of the kankara boys yesterday stirred a lot of controversies, their abductions and subsequent release has spark huge controversies all around Nigeria and the part of the world that cared about Nigeria. But whatever the case maybe, one is bound to ask some questions considering the circumstances surrounding the Kankara boys incidence, but we look into some inconsistencies that raise questions about what really happened.

To raise some questions, let's starts from Governor Masari who said herdsmen from Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders rescue the Kankara Boys. But the president Mohammad Buhari said, it was the HQNigerianArmy that did the operation and rescue, which of this is correct or which of this should we believe? It's is good that #OurBoysAreBack, but questions need to be answered. What happened to the boys that didn't returned. Who will be held responsible for those lives. How do we prevent reoccurrence of such.

The more we looked into this, the more it looked like a staged drama to celebrate Buhari's birthday but Abike Dabiri overacted and celebrated early. How did she know the boys are back by 2pm? Using innocent children to play Chess game is the height of impunity from any individual or government alike. if the boys are back without ransom and scratch; who are their abductors, were they dumped for pick up somewhere, what are the abductors test running, were any of the abductors captured?. These and many more are questions that urgently required responses.

The truth is now clear that this government plays politics with everyone almost at any opportunity. The boys got released same day the bring back our boys protest started, whichever way you look into it, it seems the government is trying so hard to score some cheap political point in the wake of their woeful performance. It was rumored that £4 billion paid to Boko Haram for the Kankara boys, but ASUU an educational body couldn't get its peanut demands compare to the supposed ransom paid.

The most important thing for the nation is that the abducted boys are back, although casualties was not totally avoided, it's good to see the government step up to responsibilities even if it's by ransom, they got the boys back. But the most saddening scenerio will be to realise the government is ursurping the country's money to sponsor terrorism in the north while the country is already bankrupt and leaving on loans to survive.
