Manchester United have offered €70M/$85M for Jadon Sancho, but Dortmund are holding out for more than €90M/$110M, reports
Agreeing personal terms with Sancho and beginning negotiations with Dortmund is basically the exact same situation we were in last summer. Dealing with Sancho was and is completely fine. Dealing with Dortmund was and is not.
There's politics involved in bidding. If you're constantly being rejected openly for a player it looks bad on the club and negotiators and clubs speak with each other. Last summer it was covert. Now it's overt. The fundamental situation remains the same.
90% of the times or more, especially true with MUFC, player agreements don’t happen if the club have no intention of making a serious bid that they know would be accepted. I expect Utd to get Sancho, especially now, with all the #GlazersOut protests in the rear view.
