NATIONAL GRID REPEATED TRIP OFF IS A SIGN-EXPERT
The national grid has trip off more than once in a month, there must be a substantiating reason for this happening.
The nigerian electricity generating source which is largely known as the national grid has collapse more than once in the month of November, the authority in charge of the grid has continually claimed ignorance of the cause of the trip off and subsequently vow to stage an investigation to reveal the reason for the repeated trip off in a single month.
Following the gigantic assignment saddled on the national grid, it's of utmost importance that the national grid remain in good shape and functioning capacity because it supplies even countries outside the shores of Nigeria, countries like Niger, Republic of Benin and a host of others are regular consumer of Nigeria electricity power supply and a trip off might throw everyone including the supplier into pitch darkness.
Following another trip off on Sunday from around 11am till about later in the day, the authority in charge of the grid had vow to investigate the reason for the trip off and subsequently proffer a permanent solution to the regularly occurring trip off scenario. The Transmission Company of Nigeria should by now have identify the reason for the trip off, but unfortunately so, the body in charge is only getting ready to investigate the cause.
Although, the government owned body upon its announcement of the collapse grid have assures Nigerian that it has since commerce grid restoration and that power will be fully restored to all facets which the trip off affected, “We regret the inconvenience this has caused electricity consumers. Investigations would be conducted to establish the immediate and remote cause(s) of the multiple tripping as soon as the grid is fully restored – considering that the grid had been relatively stable in the last couple of months.”
An expert opinion stated clearly that the repeated trip off is a sign and that the body should look into the loading of the grid and other aspect of its cross channeling or distribution of power in order to forstall a total breakdown, the repeated trip of suggests there's an unintended cross over of power which trigger the safety bottom automatically.
