NEW TREND IN APC INNER CAUCUS AS NEW COMMITTEE VISIT TINUBU

The newly appointed caretaker committee of the APC visited the leader of the party Ahmed Bola Tinubu at his residence in ikoyu part of Lagos under closed door.

The meeting that lasted several hours sees the new caretaker chairman Yobe State Governor, Buni, as well as Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State, the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, led other members to the meeting.

This new trend is believe to be an homage visits in keeping tab with the leadership of the party and subsequently making room for the Nigerian leading politician to rubber stamp the latest development in the party.

But Asiwaju Tinubu upon the completion of the meeting, addresses journalist Insisting that the meeting is just a brainstorming session on how to move the party forward, he further postulate that; the recent quagmire in the internal structure of the party couldn’t be avoided as a big party like th APC will always experience such.

But the internal mechanism put in place to address issues like that will always resolve disagreements and further position the party for a greater height.

Meanwhile, General believe and assumptions was that the CPC bloc of the APC is interested and been looking for a way to get hold of the internal structure of the party for their own gain and benefits and to be in a position to negotiate a better path for the 2023 general election which Bola Tinubu might be interested in.

But it’s been made clear that their efforts is to calm warring factions in the APC so the party can move forward and achieve greater things.

In the same day the meeting was held, all factions of the APC with a case in the court of law had withdraw their cases as stipulated in the speech of the acting chairman, giving them the ability to settle all aggrieved situations within the party.
