NIGERIAN TROOPS ARREST 3 CHADIAN MILITANTS IN ATTACK IN Borno

According to Nigerian military authorities, some Boko Haram Islamist insurgents have been arrested including three Chadians in a gun battle in northeast Borno state. The same numbers of Chadians were arrested on the 26th of January, 2017 at a check point in Damasak in Borno.

Mr Akinloye Badare who is the spokesman for military task force in Borno said in an emailed state statement that the military foiled the attacks. The insurgents attacked Madagali town in Adamawa state and Limankara village in Borno state.
Six boko haram fighters were also killed at Dissa and Patawe villages in Borno state by Nigerian troops before the exchange of gunfire with the Chadian insurgents.

Nigeria is battling an insurgency by boko haram to impose its version of Islamic rule on Africa’s most populous country of more than 180 million people. The boko haram insurgency began in 2009 when the group started an armed rebellion against the government of Nigeria and over 11,000 deaths have been recorded. According to the United Nations, the militants have caused $9 billion of damage since the beginning.

The book haram affair in the country have been curtailed since the emergence of a former military head of state as the president of nigeria, the fact that the country still battles to destroy their practices remains an eye sour event, with the way President Buhari handled the book haram issue upon his swearing in as the president of nigeria.

But it seems more slacks have been cut on this deadly insugencies and they continue to flex there ill natured wings to wreck the country in the southern part of nigeria,
