  • The clamor for youth take over in the Nigerian politics has been on the dailies on a regular basis for a time now, seemingly so, this daily dose of hymns is rather going in vain. If care is not taken, the song will last for a while and the tune will fall out of time and became another ambitious attempt that has died into the sands of time.

    The #NottooYoungtoRun# campaign is a step in the right direction and a worthy campaign if youths can come together to push it through. Coupled with the fact that the house has helped immensely by reshaping the age qualifications which gives a thirty five year old man the right to contest for the highest office in the land. But, To push through this newly launched democratic culture, youths must take up the challenge of establishing a political link. Yes a polo all link, youth must get involved in their various local establishments and political settings, belong to a party and make you voices known.

    Politics transcends sermonizing and countless speeches and writings on the pages of newspapers as well as agitations in the media. Politics is a practical game that starts from making yourself relevant in your streets, units, wards and local governments. It’s about building structures, not talking. Many of us didn’t get to where we are today by mere talking.

    This is to show that noise making isn’t the key, but rather a hand on the deck approach wherever we belong, every youth must be accountable for his society by getting involved through and through
