ONDO DECIDES: AKEREDOLU WITH AN EARLY LEAD
The gubernatorial election election which took place yesterday in Ondo state saw the incumbent governor Rotimi Akeredolu with an early lead.
The Ondo state gubernatorial election slated 10th of October took place yesterday with all three gubernatorial candidates casting their votes early to kick start the exercise, although there was a bit of a delay for the PDP candidate before he could cast his vote as the card reader was malfunctioning and couldn't start working until after about three hours of waiting.
The voting exercise went well except for some flash point around the state which causes minor setbacks and continually give a concern to all voters around the state, in some areas, there are clashes of moribund and unprecedented delays and some voters claimed they are not allowed to vote for one reason or another.

Knightpen gathered that, some hoodlums of the oppositions was equipped to distrupt a peaceful process where they realise a leading gap against their preferred candidate is huge and it's unlike they will win in the unit. There was an area of election where the wife of the governor was involved with a face to face altercation with the hoodlums who are prepared to distrust a voting exercise in some areas in ese odo and ilaje units.
Although, it was gathered that the governor has gathered an early lead right from last night when the collation exercise has started, the lead continually widened till the early hours of Sunday and jubilations and celebrations has already evolved from the camp of the incumbent governor as they have already perceived themselves the winner. Collation and counting is still on but their is a wind of Akeredolu's victory in the air.
