OONI MAKES A SPECIAL APPEARANCE WITH THE NEW SON AMID SPIRITUAL RITES

The Ooni of Ife make a special appearance with the young prince of Ife, Prince Tadenikawo, Adesoji, Aderemi, Eri-Ifeoluwasimi, Adeiwa, Inioluwa, Ademide, Adegbite, Diekoloreoluwa Ogunwusi. the spiritual appearances was made amid traditional and spiritual invocations of initiationsat the popular spiritual incubation centre Ile ogbo, the same place he was christened according to traditional prescriptions suiting the traditional home and palace of the Ooni.

The traditional naming of the young prince was held about fourteen days ago at same Ile Igbo, spiritual obeisance by the Isoros and other traditional rites were offered to formally welcome the royal baby to the Ife Royal Court and announce his names to the general public. The custodians of various deities which is known as 'Oba Isoro',  Obas and Ife High-Chiefs offered prayers in the traditional way with items like sugarcane, Aadun, honey, dried fishes, money, pen, bitter colas, cola nuts, alligator peppers, snails schnapps, water, palm oil, doves and other Yoruba core prayer items.

But today, he was brought back for spiritual innitiatuons and introduction to the Ife people who had been looking forward to see the face of their new prince. It was also es ya blushed that all male child's giving birth to in the palace went through this process irrespective of either they are first or last borns.

The late Ooni of Ife Oba Okunade Sijuade was also said to have performed such traditional rites for all the children he had in the palace although at a low key level where photo and video cameras are not allowed to be used during the process, but hey, this is a smart phone generation, to achieve such low key level these days will be a huge task.
