The city manager has now set his focus on signing Jack Grealish
Pep Guardiola wants Manchester City to move for Jack Grealish, having identified the Aston Villa attacker as a top target for his planned rebuild.
Potential signings formed a key part of Guardiola’s own negotiations for a new contract, which was signed last week, as he realises the need to overhaul this team.
The citizen missed out on wining the champions league against Chelsea in the last game of the season, hence ipropelling them to strengthen the team for the new season.
Guardiola has been fixated on him for some time, even breaking a personal rule of never discussing football on the golf course. When he found himself playing with a few figures who had worked with Grealish, he peppered them with questions about him, where he could play etc
Grealish is probably the most individualistic player in the league - which makes him so exciting - and he's going into one of the most structured attacks.
