PLAN UNDERWAY TO OCCUPY LEKKI TOLL GATE

There's a decision underway to occupy Lekki toll gate come February 13th this year. The decision was birth by the rallying of the government to reopen the top plaza for commercial purposes despite investigations and murder trial underway. Following the body language of the government considering the five point agenda and the uncooperative nature of the Nigerian government and the Nigerian police force in bringing to trial erring uniform officers.

Its glearingly clear that the police force isn't ready to prosecute any police officers found culpable in their duties and neither is the f deal givernment ready to answer for the Lekki toll gate shooting carried out by the Nigerian army to forcefully disperse peaceful Protestant on the night of October 22 2020.

The involvement of the federal government on the night of the infamous shooting has been widely criticized by the world at large but the Nigerian givenemne has refuse to own up and bring the officers to book, rather they have opted to sweep the incidence under the rug, so they can continue with their regular routine of bad governance 

Hopefully the actions of the Protestant will spur a desired change their time if it was allowed to take place.
