PRESIDENT BUHARI AND HIS CONTINUAL PROMISES TO FLUSH OUT INSECURITY

President Buhari continual promises to flush out bandits without actually lifting a finger about it is becoming a never ending promises. 

Following the sokoto killing, the president sent emissaries to solicits with the governor and the families of the victims, while he went to Lagos to commission federal government projects and attend book launch.

His emissaries delivered his message thus; The President, Major Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) has restated the Federal Government’s commitment to flush out banditry perpetrators and protect citizens from onslaught of all forms of criminal activities in the country.

Buhari gave the assurance on Friday when the Federal Government delegation paid a condolence visit to Governor Aminu Tambuwal over the killings of 23 travellers by suspected bandits.

This is contained in a statement by Malam Muhammad Bello, Special Adviser to the governor on Media and Publicity, on Saturday in Sokoto.

The president’s condolence message was delivered through the Head of the Federal Government delegation and National Security Adviser, retired Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno.

It seems the federal government already settled with the routine that follows up killings in the country, sending condolence visitors to continually roll out promises, word of encouragement and some cash probably is becoming a normal norms
