PRESIDENT BUHARI APPOINTS NEW ACTING ACCOUNTANT GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION

The President yesterday june 12, 2015 appoint Mohammed Dikwa as the new acting accountant general of the federation, the appointments takes immediate effect following the retirement of the office holder in mr Mr. Jonah Ogunniyi Otunla

Mr. Mohammed Dikwa is vastly educated with a lot of professional certificate to his name, he have served and hold many offices and board of diverse organizations including the federal and privately owned establishement

Mr mohammed Dikwa is 55yrs old with a B.sc. certificate in accounting university of maiduguiri and also an MBA in finance from the same institution in 1991 and 1996 respectively.

Mr. Dikwa has served in various government offices and parastatals, Ministries, Departments and Agencies. which inlcudes Borno State Civil Service in August, 1985. He was appointed as State Accountant-General in May, 1999 and Permanent Secretary in February, 2002. In September 2004, he joined the Federal Civil Service as Director under the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.

He served on the Boards of many Federal Government Companies and Agencies,to mention few are; Transcorp Hilton, Bank of Industry, Defence Industry Corporation, Mtel, Nitel, Transmission Company of Nigeria, Agricultural Credit Guarantee Scheme, and Bank of Agriculture etc. He was the Director in-charge of Revenue and Investment, and presently the Director of Funds under the Office of the Accountant General of the federation

His appointment as the Accountant general of the federation is more like a continous promotion of his service to the country, been veastly experience in government work and various finance offices and serving in trustees,organizing and decision making boards. we hope his vast experience in all these offics will cut accross and make a difference in his decision making on his newly appointed office.
