The unrest at the OAU vicinity continues as Ife indigenous youth refuses the nomination of Prof. Adebayo Bamire as the incoming OAU Vice chancellor to replace incumbent Prof. Eyitayo Ogunbodede come July 7.

The youth of Ife take to the OAU gate 1 entrance to protest and subsequently locked the gate to stop the inflow and outflow of people into the prestigious university.
