Today marks the 68th anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Next year, Britain's longest serving Monarch will celebrate her Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years on the throne, which is planned to see a plethora of celebrations spanning over 4 days.

The queen commenced her reign on 06 Feb 1952. Her coronation was on 02 June 1953. She will be 70 years as Queen on 06 Feb 2022. she was queen for an entire year before Coronation.

Trooping the Colour will return to London, as well as a spectacular concert at Buckingham Palace. A special parade will feature 5000 people from across the UK and Commonwealth and a big jubilee lunch will also take place. 

All through the year, members of the Royal Family will travel the length and breadth of the UK meeting communities to celebrate the Reign of the Queen and visit numerous of the charitable patronages.
