REACTIONS AS CHELSEA FANS ASKED FOR DECLAN RICE
Chelsea team has the best midfield in the world and upcoming talents like Gilmour have to find a place to assert themselves in another team
With Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic and Mount, Chelsea arguably have the best midfield in the Premier League and still some fans want Declan Rice.
Jorginho...Too slow, Kovavic..past his best, Kante..pushing 30 getting old. Mount..His inexperience showed up in the Euro’s, Need Rice and at least 2 midfields..Should have kept Gilmour.
I still think we should sign a DM but £50m+ on Rice who would he our 4th choice midfielder isn't sensible or a priority. Other areas need strengthening first. Therefore we should sign a cheap backup like Weigl or Kamara who would cost less than £30m.
Why does the price tag matter so much? Rice is quality. We had to pay big for chillwell and look how good that turned out.
How are other areas a priority when it’s only a striker we need more? And surely we should be looking to strengthen the team, otherwise why get rid of Gilmour? Those backups don’t improve our team.
Like I don't get why?, No offense but he's not what everyone think he his just another overhype player I love Chelsea and they can buy anyone, but I won't want us signing Rice even for £50m.
Rice is overhyped. But guided a midtable team into Europe as the captain at like 22? Is statistically and aesthetically one of the best DMS in the league. But we willing to spend 175mill, and 400k a week to a 20 yr old, who got outscored by Andre Silva? Haaland is overhyped then
