Nigerians reacts as the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra was arrested by the Nigerian government. Although, the story behind his arrest isn't very clear. Here are some thoughts about it;

I have to be careful about how I word this, but assuming Nnamdi Kanu was indeed extradited or arrested with international help, I want to know under what legal framework this happened. I get that he's persona non grata in Nigeria, but who gave him up and why?. He's a UK citizen, which also makes him a NATO citizen. Since when do people holding such powerful passports get given up to countries like Nigeria when they are not credibly linked to something that can be legally considered a *crime*? This doesn't smell right.

Because if such countries are now giving people up to the Nigerian government simply because the Nigerian government *accused* them of xyz without credible evidence, then what does that mean for people living under asylum protection like me? Are we next?...It's consistently clear that the west doesn't care about us and our aspirations. They are keen on stability in subsaharan Africa especially Nigeria at whatever cost, as their greatest fear is a refugee crisis swamping Europe.

You are next, many international treaties concedes to extraditing those that breaches asylum agreements by committing or collaborating to commit treason against dia country of origin or any of the states in case of those with dual citizenship.....and where how has he committed treason? It's almost like you do not knw the difference between expression right to free speech and treason....It's u that dnt known that freedom of expression is never freedom to incites violence, hate speeches and undermine a country democracy by promoting anarchy.
No absolute freedom of subjective expression anywhere.

The answer lies in Shamima Begum case. Not all red passports are considered equal. Naturalized citizens are NEVER Full citizens in the key sense of the word, don't allow anyone deceive you. I saw a similar case happen in Denmark as well....You are only granted a naturalized citizens as long as you are of good behavior. It can be taken away from you anytime. So I laugh at those who are naturalized and think their citizenship is on the "same level as the "owners of the land"

All these and many more are the discussions around Nnamdi Kanu's arrest and as news continually grow on it, more light will be shed on the proceedings of his arrest.
