The kidnapped students in kaduna has reached a high note as the kaduna government refuses to pay any ransom to the kidnappers, but the kidnappers has established a communication line with one of the parents for two weeks on the phone, still that haven't been able to track them down even with the introduction of NIN.

A parent who narrated her experiences said; "They took us to #Gumi's house, he directed us to an Ahmed, who invited a Fulani man from #Kaduna, we contributed N800,000 for him, he told us that was just for transport. I cried and plead with him, saying I'm a widow. He said it wasn't his concern".

This statement established another Gumi's link to kidnappers and terrorism in Nigeria. He had earlier advices the kaduna state government to pay up the ransom and seek to take actions later. A previous link to the banditry act was also established with the kankara boys kidnapping.

The link is very clear Gumi directed her to Ahmed, who invited a Fulani man from Kaduna who said N800,000 is just for transport. My view is that all the people mentioned should be picked up. There know where the children are. But who has the power to arrest. The bandits call the parents of the kidnapped, yet they can not be tracked through NIN. Something is not adding up here at all. It seems the NIN fiasco is a shamble. I don't see any usefulness of this NIN if kidnappers can't be tracked in few hours.
