RHE BROMANCE AND CLIMAX OF OSHIOMOLE AND OBASEKI

The political tussle between Obaseki and Oshiomole finally reached a height when Obaseki was declared not qualify to run with the same certificate he used in bidding for his first term ticket. Ironically, it was his A’level certificate that was in question and more ironically, he (Obaseki) decides not to contest the decision. Strange.. isn’t it?

Frankly on this matter, his disqualification isn’t any of my headache, I don’t mind if a former mistake or discrepancies Is been capitalized on to disqualify him, but my worry is if he (Obaseki) have greater enemies than just Oshiomole.

In April and early March 2020, Adams Oshiomole must have went through the biggest crisis of his political career when he was suspended at his ward as an APC member an action funded by some people within the party, suspected culprits are: Obaseki, Gov. Fayemi of Ekiti, Gov. Akeredolu of Ondo and some host of others.

The suspension by his ward gave room for his foes at the party to seek for his suspension and subsequent removal as the national party chairman, a high court in Abuja led by Justice Danlami Senchi issued a court order instructing political parties to obey their constitutions and act accordingly, that since he’s not recognized as a member of the party in his ward, he’s not suppose to be functioning as the nationally leader.

But upon appeal, a federal High court in Kano cancels Abuja high court decision to suspend Oshiomole as the national chairman. Justice Lewis Allagoa upturn the decision to suspend him saying it doesn’t have the judicial power to do so, he ordered the Department of State Service and Nigerian police force to provide security for him to resume office with immediate effect.

Subsequently so, in preparations for the primaries, the APC disqualify him (Obaseki) from participating in the party gobernatotial primaries scheduled June 22. The announcement was made by the chairman of the party that Obaseki and two other aspirant didn’t meet the requirement set by the party to contest in the primaries.

With all the drama climaxing in the last few days, it seem Obaseki is a threat to someone’s ambition in the greater office. Here, we will show you how their bromance started and what happened along the line and eventual result.

Obaseki’s crime; Deemed to have started a war by demanded Oshiomole seek his consent to come into Edo State, He also unjustly try to remove Oshiomole as the national leader, about 12 members of the house of assembly have not be allowed into there offices since over a year., he (Obaseki) also secretly inaugurated a state house with six member, he was also accused of demolishing buildings without the due process of serving the owner proper documentations and that most of this buildings belongs to the party leaders. Just like his predecessors in other APC states that failed to secure their second term ticket, He drew the battle line with his actions

In an interview, oshiomole claimed that DANGOTE brought Obaseki to him not knowing he (Obaseki) has other ideas things shaping up in Nigerian politics is always interesting, with Obaseki’s decision not to contest the decision, we seem to not have heard the last of him.
