ROTIMI AMAECHI FACES BACKLASH ON ACCUSATION OF MISMANAGING NDDC FUNDS
Some members of the Niger Delta Development Council have called for the probe of the senior members of the NDDC
A group in the Nigerian Delta region have accused Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, his wife, Mrs. Judith Amaechi and others of using funds meant for the commission for personal use,
The group had written to the presidency to order a probe into their activities while also removing them from any future important roles within his led cabinet.
The NDDC was under heavy criticism when a certain Mr Odei was invited by the senate commission in charge of the Nigerian delta development council to give account on how the covid-19 relief funds was spent, but the invitee slum on his chair when he was bombarded with barrel of questions which he couldn't give answers to.
Now a sect of the region who believed the fund meant for them has been mismanaged is calling for the probe of the transportation minister to give account on how the fund was spent.
Although, the Niger Delta Progressive Alliance (NDPA) has condemned the petition for probe of the Concerned Senior staff Members of NDDC, labeling it an attempt to manipulate facts for pure selfish reasons".
