Sergio Aguero is retiring from football and he's not finding it funny. He confirmed his retirement in an emotional press conference at Barcelona's Camp Nou stadium, saying:

"The decision I have made, I have taken it for my health". The 33-year-old signed to La Liga in May 2021 following a trophy-laden career with reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.

He had since made five appearances with Barcelona, and was hospitalised after being substituted in his most recent game on October 30, citing "chest discomfort".

Sergio Aguero’s contribution to English football is about more than just delivering that one immortal moment against QPR. It is about a player who, better than anyone else in his generation, mastered the traditional art of goalscoring.

Wining about five premier league titles with Manchester city, with a a couple more with former clubs and national team. Undoubtedly, Sergio Aguero is one of England finest strikers.
