Gov. Makinde held town hall meetings at Atiba
The Oyo state governor continually connect with his people by holding town hall meetings at intervals to hear their needs, and each time always bring a solution to the table for the people. Here he highlights proceedings.
We held a town hall meeting in Atiba, yesterday to listen to the concerns of our people. The main issues they raised were asking for support for the traders at Akesan Market to restock their shops, the commencement of Atiba FM station and provision of employment for youths.
I assured them that we would look into these issues. While we are already working with the private sector on youth employment, we would ensure that Atiba FM station kicks off. I also promised that the Oyo-Iseyin Road reconstruction would be flagged off within 4-6 weeks.
