For the first time in twenty three years, Southampton top the premier league table following a 2 : 0 win over Newcastle.
Southampton football club has top the premier league table following there 2:0 win over Newcastle on Friday, Southampton struggled last season and fight to beat relegation till the last quarter of the season, but there form this season has shown a coveted performance all around the football pitch.
Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl was full of praises for his player after the 2:0 win against Newcastle and hope for a more ferocious performance that will keep them in their present position till the end of the season.
With liverpool playing Manchester city and Everton playing Manchester United, who knows if they might be topping the table going into the last international break of the year. Everton who started the season on a high has now lost two games in a row and in preparation to go into one of there toughest opponent in the league this weekend, they are now fifth in the premier league table despite there heroic start.
It will be interesting to see the position the present premier league leaders will occupy going into the hectic december schedule next month.
