  • The recent arrest of the Nigerian crime lord Hushpuppi have seen a lot of people coming up with moral lessons on how crime life should never be an option for any man, but they quickly forgot how they have been envious of his lifestyle prior to his arrest.

But it never seize to amaze me what exactly the Hushpuppi guy was thinking while he was living flamboyantly; I mean making so much noise with a loud mouth, despite he knew he was living a life of crime.

In a saner clime, one would’ve expect him to put into considerations his source of income before living so extravagantly. It’s very disheartening to reveal that an attempt to compare his lifestyle to that of the richest man in Africa, whose hustle is clearly legit seems largely drastic.

Here, I want for us to put into comparison the way the African mogul Alhaji Aliko Dangote Carried and portray himself even with his enormous fortune to that of Hushpuppi.

There’s a popular saying that empty barrel makes the loudest noise, this analogy isn’t in a general phenomenon applicable except in regard to him and Dangote.

Where we have seen Dangote living moderately and modestly even with his legitimate lifestyle, Hushpuppi is the direct opposite of moderation and decency..

He has done everything in excess to prove a point and what point was that? He has money and he is living large. He had talked anyhow to anyone, look down on people without any remorse, wear expensive attires, fly private jets and helly just to show he’s living the life on the sweat of ordinary folks living their life below the legitimate line of hustle.

In conclusion, whatever we seek, work or hope for must be done in moderacy and in total awareness of the full extent of any actions and inactions that might have gone outside the purview of the law because there’s always a day of reckoning for an outlaw.
