Statement from the PL on the 6 clubs who agreed to join the Super League. All 6 have agreed to pay £22m between them which will "go towards the good of the game" and have agreed to rule changes that would lead to a 30pt deduction should they do something similar in the future.

The clubs also acknowledged that their actions were a mistake, and have reconfirmed their commitment to the Premier League and the future of the English game.

English football really showing it’s backbone here, by allowing the greedy 6 to face absolutely zero consequences, The super league will go ahead in the future. The PL and UEFA have only delayed the inevitable. The clubs themselves did nothing wrong.

Another thing is that top teams can’t run their football clubs properly without plunging themselves into debt, the total sum of debt when you added all the 12 clubs together was £7.4 billion. The issue isn’t the model, it’s the extortionate spending which needs to be controlled
