SARAKI tale (A continuos update on the SARAKI case)

The SARAKI trial is turning out to look like one in a clueless society, in reality the senates president would have defend himself with his chest out if he was truly witch hunted as he claimed by all these allegations of corrupt practices levied against him since CCT got on his track, to realise that his corrupt practices even cut across national boundaries, and his name popping up on any mention of corruption should have make him cover his head in a veil of shame, his arguement lately through their regular corrupt official trumpeter should have been spared, involving himself in a cheat and deceitful explanation in an attempt to cheat the general reading minds like he cheated his way to the third highest office in the land will allotted to him more enemies than friends..

Saraki has never told anyone including his new pen dog that he is not guilty of the offences but that he is only being called to account because he opposed Muslim/Muslim ticket I believed that was why he went to tax havens as revealed by Panama papers too. We can see him used his column for this charade and selfish job thinking that all Nigerians are gullible because majority they come across are, so they judge all based on that.

But, this is what you get when you only think of your selfish desires against others every time. never once willing to compromise his desires with that of his party. Nobody wins them all. “You win some you loose some”, he should have considered the skeletons in his wardrobe before crossing paths with his leaders.

As it appears, the senate president is a corrupt individual who milked even old pensioners of their rights to their hard earned stipends. Having been to banks where old pensioners have to wait on endless queues just to get their peanut cash for mostly medications and foods, many collapse on the que while some pee in their pants without been paid for days, weeks, months and sometimes years. To hear of a former governor and a present senate president getting part of this stipend show the highest level of greed and gluttony. He should face his trials and stop hoodwinking the judicial process.

On another note, an adage says whom the Gods want to kill they first make mad….if the infighting within the party as he had made us believe is mainly because of his opposition to the leaders ambition and this pave way for Nigeria liberation from the shackles of corruption and corrupt officials in power so be it. After all even in the Bible God puts confusion among powerful people to set someone free.

Him and his defence team has never attempted to clarify if he actually did or didn’t committed this offences. Rather, he is more interested in what elicited the case and technicalities surrounding it, because he feels Nigeria has been operating in the past with brazen impunity against the rule of law, but a nation must one day depart from its wrong ways so if starting from him is the beginning of our departure from our evil past, don’t think there is anything wrong with that.
