On a night of a crunch champions league semi final tie in Spain, Chelsea's outplayed the Spanish giant and could've easier score more goals on the night, but it ended in a stale mate with the second tie to be settle in Stamford bridge. On the night N'Golo Kante is the man of the man and his performance easily overshadowed the likes of Kroos, Modric and casemiro in the middle of the pack.

The midfielder was named Man of the Match for his all-action display at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium on Tuesday night in the first leg of Chelsea’s Champions League semi-final, with the Blues taking a 1-1 draw back to Stamford Bridge. However, despite acknowledging Kante’s strong display, Tuchel felt he wasted a number of attacking opportunities while he was also disappointed with some of midfield partner Jorginho’s decision-making.

Asked to rate Kante’s performance, Tuchel told Chelsea TV after the game: ‘Yeah top performance. Unfortunately he also lacked a little bit the last pass. ‘He could have been even decisive in front of the goal, he was driving at the back of the midfield from Real. But a very, very strong performance.

Truly, Kante was electrifying on the night, but his performance could've done more damage if his final passes and direct approach at goal are more clinical, his team could've easily win iby either two or three goal margin. On the night, he find it easy to play through the midfield at the expense of all midfielders and the rest of the opponent's team which earned him a man of the match performance.
