Sharia Hisbah police said the use of mannequins is responsible for immoral thoughts among the public. Mannequins is now banned in Kano. The police body heads been waging war on alcohol and it's consumptions before now, but thier next moves is mannequin ban.
As the police body gain more power and recognition to enforce sharia law in the northern state, It next move will be interesting to look forward to. Very soon they might move that churches with female statues are arousing some men and those with male statues are arousing their women. Also they might soon need to put clothes on the crucifix. In as much as the state remain a part of Nigeria govern by the same constitution, this law MUST be contested in court for clarity.
But according to thier reasons for the ban, Hisbah banning the use of #mannequin because people are getting sexually stimulated will not solve the problem except they have a sinister agenda. It would've been best to get rehabilitation centers for the people. Anyone getting aroused by mannequin will rape minors & vulnerable animals.
