WHY CANADIAN GOVERNMENT SUSPENDS ASTRAZENECA VACCINES FOR OLDER PEOPLE

The Canadian government and NACI (National Advisory Committee on Immunization) have recommends AstraZeneca #COVID19 vaccine not be used in adults under 55 "while the safety signal of Vaccine-Induced Prothrombotic Immune Thrombocytopenia (VIPIT) is been cleared. Following the need for the vaccine" to be  investigated further, as @CBCNews reported.

But in the United Kingdom, it's believed the vaccine is very safe and 100% effective at preventing severe disease. Tens of millions of people in the U.K. have received it with no issues. The UK government adviced people to take it because it believes it could save people's life and the lives of vulnerable people around the country.

But in Canada, the government spending/GDP has increased by 80% in the last 12 months. The country has zero vaccine production ability and have only vaccinated about 12% of it entire population. Provinces are heading back to isolation and lockdown. Most importantly, people are still dying and the government is prepare to wait because of a case occurrence of 20/20mil doses. That's some government who really have the best interest of its population at heart.

There seems to be controversies with the AstraZeneca vaccines everywhere you look and the government is taking a temporary measure while they get some information from the manufactures. It's standard procedure and probably won't last for too long. But Insisting the AstraZeneca vaccine is "very safe" and "100% effective" is not the truth. How can anyone actually know this, it's impossible to know because no one can know this, nobody  knows what the future implications will be after taking a vaccine that was developed in record time.

Apart from been developed in record time; they recruited people in the trials too quickly to forestall the humongous tally of death cases, they were funded quickly too, the regulation was efficient and safety has not been compromised. This shows that the Canadian authority actually have a good reason to suspend it for now, until well established information is received
