The circulations of adulterated fuel now in Nigeria circulations
There has been a scarcity of fuel in Nigeria following the discovery of adulterated fuel in circulation in Nigeria.
It was later discovered that the shipment of adulterated petrol was brought into Nigeria by Duke Oil.
Duke oil is believed to be an NNPC trading subsidiary registered in 1989 which is located in Panama.
It was also believed that the company was registered under the famously transparent and incorruptible Ibrahim Babangida administration about 32yrs ago.
This company, which most of us had never heard of until today, is the SOLE IMPORTER of petrol into Nigeria, and has its operations shrouded in total secrecy.
It has no physical office in Panama and routes its business through a Panamanian law firm Alemán, Cordero, Galindo & Lee.
Now, the country is struggling with the influx of aldulterated fuel which has crippled the operations of the country.
