APPEAL COURT GRANT APOSTLE ALFA BABATUNDE SOTITOBIRE BAIL
The convicted C&S founder Alfa Babatunde Sotitobire has been released by the appeal court
Jubilation as Appeal Court Orders the release of Church Founder, Prophet Alfa Babatunde, After Appealing his Life Imprisonment Sentence Over the Disappearance of a One-year-old Boy from his Church.
The court of appeal sitting in Akure, the Ondo state capital has set aside the Judgement on the life imprisonment verdict against Prophet Alfa Babatunde by the state High court following the missing of a boy in his church.
It would be recalled that an Ondo high court in Akure led by Justice Olusegun Odusola had on October 6, 2020 sentenced the Founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel, Prophet Babatunde Alfa and five others to life imprisonment over the disappearance of a one-year-old boy, Gold kolawole in the church late 2019.
But not satisfied with the judgement, Prophet Alfa had in September asked the appeal court to nullify his life sentence conviction by the Ondo State High Court over the disappearance of the one-year-old boy.
