  • The United States have reported made history by recording a total sum of 55,220 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, surpassing Wednesday’s report of 52,789, previously the largest 24hr total since the start of the pandemic,

    Florida on Thursday reported 10,109 new cases of the coronavirus, marking a new single-day record for the state, which reported 6,563 cases on Wednesday. 
    Georgia also reported 3,472 on Thursday a figure high from 2,976 on Wednesday.
    Texas also reported 7,915 new cases of the coronavirus on Thursday.

    This sudden surge in infectious number could be partly attributed to a lot of happening within the United States, the killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis Cop which resulted in a nationwide protest amid lockdown is one of the factors that push the rise into high numbers, the failure of the president to openly calm aggrieved nerves further escalated the protest to all the fifty states of the country. It would be unreal not to expect a break out numbers for these deeds.

    A few days back, a former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain was hospitalized and subsequently tested positive for the coronavirus, He made this announcement almost two weeks after he was in attendance at President Trump’s Tulsa campaign rally with other thousands Americans, this means that thousand in that rally could be infected as well.
