NIGERIANS REACT AS SENATE PASSED A BILL TO ESTABLISH FIRST STEEL UNIVERSITY

The Senate on Wednesday, passed the bill for establishment of Nigeria Steel University, Ajaokuta, Kogi. According to him, the institution will provide specialised services in engineering and training in every aspect of education and fields of applied learning.
But Nigerians reactions to this supposes good news differs.

Please is it only universities, polytechnics and colleges of education that this present senate knows how to create? Who funds these schools? Is it this same FG that can't take care of d existing ones that will fund them? What happens  to bills that will enhance creation of jobs....stop creating unnecessary burden for the country..capitalize on the existing investment and make them better, the schools in existence needed capital to improve, why creat another one.

Like seriously? Steel production/manufacturing requires establishing a university? I think we need Cocoa University of Nigeria also....Soon there will  be a university  for cocoa  in Ondo state  university  for Rubber and Timber in Edo,  University for plantain and Banana  in Ekiti , university  for shea butter  in Niger etc....The existing ones are they being funded why not make it a department in the various university of technology....What are the state of the current ones across the country. All in comatose. All in a total mess. Misplaced priority everywhere.

Nonsense and ingredient. Stealing isn’t so lucrative from Ajeokuta steel anymore so they establish the university...Will it be another theoretical paper university or a practical one? And what will graduands do after graduation? Just musing....Bandits are taking note, more offices....More grounds to plot evil...Another white elephant project! May the Almighty save my dear country Nigeria..

All these and many more are the reactions on the proposed university, when will the voice of the people be heard.
