NUNO ESPIRITO SANTOS SET TO TAKE OVER AT CRYSTAL PALACE
The Portuguese emerged as a preferred option to take over from Roy Hodgson
Crystal Palace expect to name Nuno Espirito Santo as their new manager. Nuno has been locked in talks with Palace since leaving Wolves at the end of the season.
This is a strange move, it suggests either there's a problem at Wolves or ambition at Palace. Or did he just fancy moving to London. The regular believe was that Nunos Plan A at wolves worked. When he needed a plan B he didn't have one. A regular wolves fan doesn't see him as a top 6 manager.
A good manager and a genuinely decent bloke but not built for a top team yet. He did well don't get me wrong, but I do wonder if he took us as far as he could. Im guessing there is more to the story of him going but we'll never know.
Great signing for palace if they get it over the line but what’s Nuno going to do when he realises he can’t do the team talk in Portuguese.
