Who is the most successful rapper turned actor and who's a better actor between Will Smith and Jamie Foxx.

Will Smith was an actor who "tried" rapping. She said rapper, and he is not one...Are u kidding me right now, Will Smith has multiple platinum albums. Plus won the first Hip Hop Grammy. Don’t undermine his success in music before his transition...Talk about being loud and ignorant. Rock the House and He’s the DJ, I’m the Rapper are important albums to the golden age of hip hop, Live At Union Square advanced beatboxing, Touch of Jazz changed Djing, Will influenced a generation of rappers. Scary how folk talk out they neck.

I mean parents just don’t understand, brand new funk, rock the house, girls ain’t nothing but trouble, i wanna rock, the magnificent.... or how about summertime? People really be tryna get ratio points on here....I mean Getting Jiggy With It, Men In Black, Wild Wild West, Miami, Switch, boom shake the room, the list goes on....Eminem is the exact opposite of will smith he is a rapper who tried acting... And basically played himself. I love 8 mile but people really gave him props for being himself....It was a great movie, lol, but yeah, playing oneself isn't exactly groundbreaking stuff.

First ever rap Grammy? Big Willie style went 9X platinum. His rap career spanned for over 2 decades. He STARTED out as a successful rapper. Without that, he wouldn’t have gotten the fresh prince show gig. He knew Quincy Jones. I think Will is more likeable to the masses because his personality is more clean cut. Jamie is also very charismatic, but his sense of humor can be a bit crass. Which is fine, but I think that's why Will might appeal more to the family crowd.

The only thing will smith can do better than Jamie is be will smith, and that’s only theoretical cuz I’ve never seen Jamie try. will smith is funny in rated r movies, too his films are classics does jamie have any classics in which he plays a lead role and before anyone says, "the players club" jamie just spins records... Jamie has done leads in some iconic movies (Django), but I do agree, Will is in more classic favorites. He has a knack for lighthearted comedy and feel-good, heartfelt stuff. Jamie's repertoire is more gritty/serious stuff. Stuff that would be considered for Oscars.
