REACTIONS ON INDIAN COVID-19 SURGE AND WHY IT SHOULD WORRY THE WORLD
The Indian covid-19 surge was blamed on the government by some quarters while some other blame the general populace
The Indian government has always played the covid-19 pandemic lightly, thereby giving it citizens a relax mindset on the deadly pandemic, now the country is facing a pandemic that's proving to be too dangerous to play with and all hell is breaking loose. Here are some of the reactions of Indians on why the country is presently devastated by the pandemic wave.
Modi has spent more time diminishing the pandemic’s seriousness than combating it.The result is this: More than 1,500 deaths and nearly 300,000 infections on Monday alone, and no signs that things will get better. But some refute this claim, pointing all accusing fingers in the public rather than the government, the following is an assertion.
What is the basis of this statement that Indian government or Modi diminished pandemic’s seriousness? Pick up any statement/interaction he had in last one year, they only reinforced the need to socially distance & mask. Public should get the blame for violating all guidelines. Not sucking up for Modi, it’s about truth vs lying. Not saying Covid isn’t bad in India but it’s a country of 1.4bn ppl, with maximum diversity in culture, language, religion. Media deliberately misrepresent the information. That’s the point.
The point is that with good govt intervention and public education (its called public health interventions) then this wouldn't have been as much of a mess. See: NZ and Australia. What about this? What about this; An ayurvedic kadha was touted to be "successful" in scientific trials last October. Wonder why it hasn't been launched at scale to curb the current wave; Gujarat Government shares success story with Ministry Of Ayush regarding 6000 People in Quarantine benefiting from Ayurvedic Kadha. People who were in Quarantine and drank Kadha for the prescribed time tested negative for Covid-19.
